"I Matter" Gentle Practice

The theme of this practice, in keeping with the theme of the week on Finding Serenity is “I matter”. We move through a gentle practice while holding the intention to take our own body, mind and spirit into consideration in our lives as well as in our practice.

Our purpose of this practice is both to turn inward, fostering a sense of inner peace and calm from which to create our future and live with intention.

 

It gets even better though, because this practice features deep heart and quad openers which can counter those long hours sitting in your home office.

Bhramari (Bee) Pranayama

Bhramari pranayama is so named due to the buzzing sound that you make while performing this breathe technique.

 

This breathe technique has the following benefits:

  • Instant relief from tension, anger and anxiety

  • Calms down the agitated mind

  • Gives relief if you’re feeling hot or have a slight headache
